Ife sneakhit

Type of Feat: Class

Prerequisite: Rogue.

Specifics: Whenever the character makes a successful attack against an opponent who is flat-footed, cannot see them, or who is in combat with someone else, the character's blow delivers 1d6 extra damage per rank. This extra damage is not multiplied in the case of a critical hit. This damage bonus applies to all Light weapons included in the Weapon Finesse feat and to unarmed attacks. When using other weapons the number of Sneak Attack ranks is halved, rounded down.

Use: Automatic. Monsters of the construct and undead types are immune to sneak attacks, as are any creatures that are immune to critical hits.

Notes[]

Sneak Attack I offers no benefit when using a Medium, Heavy or Ranged weapon.

When incurring an Armour Check Penality of -5 (ACP -5) or greater, the number of Sneak Attack ranks is halved, rounded down. This means Sneak Attack I will not offer any benefit while wearing heavy armour or Breastplate/Chainmail (medium armour) or while wielding a tower shield. Wearing a chain shirt (ACP -2) while equipping a large shield (ACP -2) is the most defensible a character can be without reducing their Sneak Attacks.

The penalty to Sneak Attack for having an Armour Check Penalty of -5 or greater does not double up with the penalty applied from wielding a medium or heavy weapon. This means a character wielding a heavy weapon and wearing heavy armour will have a maximum Sneak Attack penalty of half, rounded down.
